Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 21, 2026

Due Dot helps users track expiry dates, renewals, warranties, services, and related proof files. This Privacy Policy explains what Due Dot collects, how it is used, and how users can request deletion.

Information We Collect

  • Account information such as your email, display name, profile photo, authentication method, and anonymous guest status.
  • Item records that you create, including titles, dates, notes, category-specific fields, timeline entries, and uploaded attachments.
  • Subscription status (Due Dot Plus) processed through the app stores and RevenueCat.
  • Feedback submissions and deletion requests you send through Due Dot or this website.
  • Diagnostics and crash data used to improve reliability.
  • If you allow analytics tracking on iPhone, feature-usage events, app interaction data, and identifiers used by Firebase Analytics to measure which parts of Due Dot are being used and where the app needs improvement.

How We Use Information

  • To create and maintain your account and tracked items.
  • To schedule reminders. Reminders are scheduled and delivered on your device; Due Dot does not send them from a server and stores no push token.
  • To store supporting files such as receipts, policies, and proof documents.
  • To process and honor your Due Dot Plus subscription.
  • To investigate bugs, abuse, and delivery failures.
  • To understand feature usage and improve product decisions when analytics is enabled.
  • To review feedback and respond to deletion requests.

Analytics and Tracking Permission

Due Dot uses Firebase Analytics for product analytics. On iPhone, the app keeps Firebase Analytics collection disabled until you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, Due Dot continues to work and analytics tracking remains off on that device.

You can review or change this decision later in your device settings. Due Dot does not sell personal information.

How We Share Information

Due Dot uses third-party infrastructure providers including Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Crashlytics, Analytics, Hosting, Cloud Functions, and RevenueCat to operate core features. Data may be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to protect the service and its users.

Retention

Account and item data are retained while the account remains active. When you delete your account, your items, files, and profile are erased from our servers; a minimal audit record (email and deletion date) may be retained for support, fraud prevention, and compliance purposes for a limited period. Feedback and deletion-request records may be retained for a limited period after review.

Your Choices

  • You can manage notification permissions in the app and on your device.
  • On iPhone, you can allow or deny analytics tracking when Apple’s permission prompt appears, then change it later in Settings.
  • You can delete your account directly inside the app from the Profile tab.
  • If you cannot access the app, you can submit a deletion request on the account deletion page.
